A student must have passed all the components of the BSL Level 1 before applying to take this course. The Intermediate Level A and B Course consists of a total of 180 hours taught over 62 weeks. In practice, it is taught as two separate courses of 90 hours taught over 31 weeks – two 10 week terms and one 11 week term over a 12 month period.
This course offers the student the further opportunity to develop everyday use of sign language and incorporates BSL grammar at a higher level. There are assessments at the end of both the A and B components of the course (weeks 31 and 62). Class numbers will not exceed 15 students.

The fee for the Intermediate Level B Course is: £475
The fees include the course tuition, the assessment and certificate upon achieving a pass.
